Delaware state senator (2020-present); chair of the Senate Elections & Government Affairs Committee (current); vice-chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee (current); co-chair of the Joint Legislative Oversight and Sunset Committee (current); member of the Senate Transportation Committee (current); member of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee (current); serves on the board of the Delaware Bar Foundation (current), private practice attorney (2014-present); works pro bono representing foster care children; former president of the Junior League of Wilmington; served on Delaware’s Public Integrity Commission; clerked in Delaware Superior Court; Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Department of Justice.

Issues and Positions

Work towards building a community that is equal and fair through various forms of legislation.

Protect and expand reproductive rights.

Ensure Delawareans seeking reproductive care are protected from the ramifications of the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v Wade. 

Increase funding for education and child care as a whole to provide a stable foundation for learning. 

Preserve the right to vote and transform the criminal justice system to expand opportunities for second chances to those who deserve them.
