Current member of the City of Dover Police Chief’s Advisory Committee, current At Large Commissioner for the city’s Human Relations Commission, current President of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, 1st Vice President of Blacks in Government, the past 1st Vice President of the Central Delaware Branch NAACP, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, served as a board member of the Friends of Delaware Veterans and the board’s liaison with the state’s Junior ROTC programs, started her own business, worked as Program Specialist for Veterans Employment and Training Services (2010), and served the Air Force in Avionics as a Communications/Navigations Systems Specialist (1990-1994)
