Social Skills Parent Workshop (3 hours) A child’s learning does not stop at the end of the school day. To better ensure the success of participating students, the parent workshop is designed to give parents of students in social skills groups additional tools to help reinforce the concepts their children learn at school in the home setting. Presenters provide parents an overview of the lessons provided to their children, the vocabulary used in the groups, and several activities that can be done at home to allow their children to practice their social thinking skills.
